Why restaurants can be sexual harassment lawsuits waiting to happen
Sexual harassment claims in food service are among the highest of any industry. According to the EEOC, accommodation and food service workers file more harassment charges than any other sector. For decades, this has reflected a workplace culture that accepts harassment as normal. Many restaurant owners take an informal approach to sexual harassment prevention training, but this is a costly mistake.
CRA BENEFIT ALERT: To support CA restaurant operators, the CRA teamed up with Train 321 to develop a platform and improve sexual harassment prevention training by providing access to an all-inclusive system for tracking and managing their team members. CRA members enjoy a discounted rate.

"A new trend has entered the chat: modular eating. Though it’s a bit like grazing or ‘snackification,’ which involves eating more snacks or smaller meals throughout the day over three larger meals, it more closely resembles the ‘girl dinner’ trend popularized on TikTok, which refers to a lighter meal like a mini charcuterie board or snack plate."

"Gen Z workers are a lot less interested in a high salary than health benefits and work flexibility, a key distinction for employers who want to hire and retain the newest generation of employees. Those and other insights come from a survey of 11,000 new or recent high school graduates by the National Society of High School Scholars."
